Asheville holds a special place in my heart. I lived there in the early 2000s and it’s where I decided that I could, and would, become an artist. Asheville allowed me nonjudgmental freedom to try to do the thing that is now a defining part of who I am. It’s also where I had my first art show at the holy Harvest Records and learned the craft of screen printing at the legendary Image 420.
What’s happening there now is heartbreaking and my thoughts are with everyone in Asheville. It’s truly a magical and important place. There would be no Kin Ship without Asheville. If you’re able to help in any way, please do.
